'There are few living pianists who can match him in dexterity, power and daring. For heart-thumping virtuosity Hamelin is in a class of his own' (Classic CD)
'The virtuosity with which all this is despatched is exceptional' (BBC Record Review)
'Peu parmi les plus grands seraient capable d'être aussi rigoristes tout en étant aussi virtuoses' (Répertoire, France)
'These are musically and technically dazzling readings of some of the most demanding and poetic music ever written for the piano. They make me wonder if Liszt himself ever played them better! You rarely hear music-making of this calibre' (Hi Fi News)

I'm beginning here to resurrect some of the works that "disappeared" from Avax or were "abandoned" from the original uploaders. There's not a real thought behind it, I'm just cleaning up my HDs and following the wind. What I downloaded long ago is flowing back. All credits go to the first uploader. Enjoy...

Sorry, this is NOT the disc you announced, these are the Paganini studies (the same as in your latest post)!

Best wishes,

My friend!

I cannot thank you enough for all the delectably beautiful music that you have been uploading. Muchas gracias!
But, I would like to point out that in relation to the uploads of the Hamelin recordings of Liszt, there has been some duplication/error. Both the uploads are for the Paganini Studies album. Would you be so kind as to fix that?
I had originally posted this comment under the newest Hamelin upload (the Paganini Studies one) but I thought it might be useful here as well. I notice also that I am not alone with this request.
Warm regards,
An Admirer
