Clemencic Consort - René Clemencic
Besides songs criticising their epoch with violent emotion, we find in Carmina Burana graceful love songs, songs of Spring, some based on inner emotions, besides others which are definitely immoral.
On this record, first issued in 1975, René Clemencic has produced an interpretation that is fanciful, vividly colourful and reasonably entertaining. To have made it otherwise would have been to deny the music any artistic (by today's standards) or even commercial value. Enjoy his vision of Carmina burana for what it is, then, but do not be tricked into thinking that you are eavesdropping on something authentically medieval, as the words "version originate" on the sleeve might imply, for you are not.

I'm resurrecting here some of the works that "disappeared" from Avax or were "abandoned" from the original uploaders. There's not a real project behind it, I'm just cleaning up my HDs and following the tide. What I downloaded long ago is flowing back. All credits go to the first uploader. Enjoy...
